How, why and when to use a floss Threader?

In order to have healthy gums and teeth, we need to maintain proper oral hygiene in the way that is recommended by dentists, dental oraganisations, and dental societies. Flossing can be a tricky task for those who have braces. Floss Threader is an easy and quick way to floss and to ensure good oral hygiene. What makes Floss Threader convenient is that it helps pass the dental floss through difficult and hard to reach areas near the gum lines and at contact points between teeth and braces in less than no time. There are other groups of patients besides those under orthodontic treatment who can benefit from using a Floss Threader; patients with permanent retainers, people who have dental bridges, which can be implant bridges, especially two unit bridges, as well as those with two or more connected teeth for stability.
Remember that when it comes to oral and general health, prevention is better than treatment, so I recommend brushing and flossing at least twice a day, especially at night, before going to bed.
Steps for using a Floss Threader:
1.     Pull off about 10 to 15 inches (about 25 to 40 centimetres) of a preferred dental floss.
2.     Pass about 3 inches (about 8 centimetres) of chosen floss through the loop of the floss Threader.
3.     Pass the Floss Threader over on the upper teeth and under the lower teeth appliance such as braces, bridge, or permanent retainer.
4.       After threading the floss, remove the Threader and floss gently in all directions, up and down, back and forth, and also between the gum line and teeth. Repeat the process for other areas with appliances.  You can contact me with your questions or oral hygiene concerns. I will be available at kevinsoltanidds@gmail.com
